Halton Family Network may offer paid visibility products such as featured placements, sponsored category positions or promoted events and deals. Paid visibility must be labelled clearly as Sponsored or with another unambiguous paid-placement label.

Editorial separation

Payment does not permit a business to bypass factual verification, create fabricated ratings or reviews, or turn a service-area provider into a false physical location. Free and paid records are subject to the same rules for source accuracy and correction.

What sponsorship can change

Sponsorship can change where an eligible record is displayed in designated promotional areas. It should not silently change neutral editorial guidance, official-source information or the meaning of a source-checked badge.

Corrections

If a sponsored record contains an inaccurate factual statement, use the correction workflow. Sponsorship status is not a reason to keep incorrect information published.
